How’s it going? Good, I hope! I’ve been writing like a beast. In fact, five Leanne Banks books will be published within 13 months starting in April 2008! I’m thrilled to announce that I’m launching a scandalicious new series from Silhouette Desire called “The Billionaire’s Club”. (Because a million just isn’t what it used to be.) The first title, BEDDED BY THE BILLIONAIRE, features a pregnant shero, a billionaire hero, secrets and forbidden passion. The book hits the stands April 8, so I hope you’ll read it and tell me what you think of it!

For those of you waiting for TROUBLE IN HIGH HEELS, I have more great news! I told you I’ve been working hard. I mailed the complete manuscript for this long-awaited book on December 31. Yes. New Year’s Eve. TROUBLE IN HIGH HEELS will hit the stands in March 2009. Before that, in August, another Billionaire’s Club story, THE BILLIONAIRE’S MARRIAGE BARGAIN, comes out in August 2008. In January, I’m launching a juicy multi-author continuity entitled The Hudsons of Beverly Hills. The third Billionaire’s Club book, BILLIONAIRE EXTRAORDINAIRE, will appear in May. Whew!

You know, I have a MySpace page, and I joined because all of my sisters did and well, I'm a lemming....Sue Me. And the thing is, I have a ton of authors on my page, and most of them I just said, "Yes" to the friends request on. I don't find new authors on there, I don't pay much attention to their pages. I think an author could do much more with a profile on Shelfari or GoodReads.
While MySpace is a great way to connect with people, I think it's more of a networking thing - Not promotional. I honestly feel that a lot of the messages, invites, bulliten et al I get on there from authors and musicians are akin to SPAM.
A blog that is updated regularly goes a lot farther in reaching readers than a MySpace page.
However - If, like me, you want to see how that head cheerleader that always tried to make you feel bad by putting your underwear up the flagpole, has fallen from grace, well....MySpace is your Place.....
Cannot WAIT for Trouble in High Heels and if ya really want to do a MySpace page, I'd be glad to run it for ya! (Hey, it'd get me inside info way before hand *G*
